Google adds Carrenza as a cloud managed service partner

Written by

CSP Carrenza is now an official partner for Google expanding its range of hybrid cloud products and utilising the Google infrastructure

UK cloud Service provider (CSP) Carrenza, has been named as one of Google Cloud Platform's official managed service partners for Europe. Today’s announcement means that Carrenza’s customers will be able to utilise Google’s public cloud infrastructure as part of their hybrid cloud solution and have access to their cloud infrastructure.

Additionally Carrenza has leaked that it would also be adding a number of other “global partners” to it’s roster of corporate and public sector clients in the coming months.

Commenting on the new signing, Matt McGrory, Carrenza’s Managing Director, explains: “Our partnership with Google means our customers have access to the entire Google Cloud and they now have the freedom to pair the most suitable, additional cloud infrastructure for their needs with our award-winning Carrenza Cloud. Google’s Cloud Platform offers our clients low latency, low cost and high availability cloud infrastructure, which is fine for many tasks, but not necessarily for all of a business’s needs. Carrenza’s UK-based, highly secure, service lead offering is tailor-made to fill that gap.

“For us, being a cloud services provider is about managing complex, shifting business requirements that require a consultative solution to deliver the required value, performance and security. Carrenza’s service lead approach and the added layer of advanced security we offer our customers is enhanced by having a tool box that includes Google’s Cloud technology, which is capable of computing vast amounts of data at low cost to enable smarter business decisions.”
