Software as a service productivity tool business Clarizen has announced new features and a new integration with Box at its Spring Release conference in San Francisco.
Clarizen describe the new additions and Box integration as the largest strategic enhancement to the platform since the release of Clarizen V6. The Spring 2015 Release features a new Reports and Dashboards module, which was developed in close collaboration with customers. It also includes updated connections with other mission-critical systems, as a part of the company’s strategy to deliver a broader integration platform.
“Transparency and context are prerequisites for continuous improvement in today’s modern workplace,” said Avinoam Nowogrodski, CEO, Clarizen. “Leaders need a 360-degree view of the health of their initiatives, so that they can quickly understand patterns, predict potential business trends and make organizational improvements. The world-class reporting capabilities in Clarizen’s latest release deliver deep insights to accelerate the speed of doing business.”
Clarizen’s new Reports and Dashboards module allows users to collaborate on and take action on data in real time and allows specific views and visualisations to be shared as “widgets” or snapshots for a high-level executive view – which can be accessed by internal as well as external users, without requiring a login.
Clarizen also presented an expanded integration with Box allowing businesses to connect files and folders seamlessly between platforms including connecting or creating Box files without ever leaving Clarizen, so that the file is always connected and collaborated on in the context of work being done in Clarizen. Additionally, when a new project is activated in Clarizen, a folder in Box will automatically be created and connected to the project, so that it is consistently pre-populated with the relevant documents.
There is no charge for the Spring Release to existing Clarizen customers and the Box enhancements are already embedded in every Clarizen account.
