Abiquo delivers a new Microsoft Azure plug-in to allow Abiquo’s users to easily and securely manage the Azure public cloud environment

Hybrid cloud software provider, Abiquo has announced support for Microsoft Azure.  The new Azure plug-in allows enterprise users add and manage the Azure public cloud environment with Abiquo’s on-premise and SaaS offerings.

Administrators will benefit from full visibility and control of the infrastructure within the platform and can add multiple virtual data centres per account, which helps to organise Azure usage across the organisation, as well as improving flexibility and scalability.

Commenting on the new service Ian Finlay, COO of Abiquo said. “Microsoft Azure is an undisputed leader in the public cloud space and enterprise demand for it is growing exponentially. We’re delighted to be adding support for another ‘best of breed’ cloud offering to enable enterprises to leverage Azure alongside their other deployments seamlessly and securely without the need to redevelop or switch providers.”
