Box signs up Coca-Cola

Coca-Cola has chosen Box to deliver content sharing and collaboration for all of its 22,000 employees.

Ahead of Box’s annual conference BoxWorks 2015 the business has announced that Coca-Cola will be rolling out Box to help its employees collaborate across business units and with external parties and will be relying on Box to streamline its global digital marketing efforts.

Additionally having Box will allow the 100 year-old business to share files for its advertising and marketing campaigns across its workforce quickly, without the normal time-consuming process of transferring and approving large video, image and audio files.  Cokes’ IT teams will also integrate Box with other cloud and on-premise solutions to support sales and digital-marketing efforts.

In a Box blog post Alan Boehme, Global CTO, The Coca-Cola Company explained that moving to a cloud content platform like Box was critical to creating a more productive, connected and collaborative workforce at Coca-Cola. “Our success depends on our ability to connect with consumers by providing them with a wide variety of options to meet their desires, needs and lifestyles. In order to achieve this goal, our employees must be able to execute and innovate effectively, at anytime and from anywhere.”  He said.
